With more than forty years of power boating experience, Captain Ron Post is one of Southern California's most experienced Boatmen. His navigation and cruising experience has taken him from Alaska to the Panama Canal. Panama to the East coast, including all of Mexico's ports of call. He's navigated the inside and outside passages of both coasts.

Captain Post has been both Captain and manager of yachts up to 140'. His experience has had him Captain and manage yachts of some of the Rich and famous, former Television producer Ted Bergmann, producer of "Threes Company" and his yacht "Galatea", Florence Henderson of the "Brady Bunch" and her yacht "Big Flo III". In 1992 Captain Post Captained the 90' Feadship for Raul Gardini of the Italian syndicate's, Americas Cup challenge. Walter Cronkite, while a guest aboard the "Galatea" wrote his last book, 'WestWind" while cruising with Captain Post because of his knowledge of the local waters of the West coast.
A most effective instructor, Post uses a one-on-one, hands-on approach with new boat owners: He teaches them to learn by experience aboard their own boats. His instruction has been so successful that, due to frequent client requests, Post has expanded his business to include a variety of adjunct services including another essential course for new boat owners, entitled "Coastal Navigation and Electronics"

Local TV- Channel 10's Eye on San Diego calls Captain Post's, Introduction to Boating the "Drivers Ed of Boating". Post's one-of-a- kind method also inspired an article in Sea Magazine.
